We do still exist, even though it seems as though we NEVER post anything anymore....
Life here is not slowing down and we are afraid it shall only get busier as this baby comes, so we are trying to treasure every moment....
Things we have done:
- For Valentine's - Eric took me to the Peale's cabin for a 4 day retreat - we enjoyed relaxing, reading, fires, sewing and being together - trying to enjoy time alone before our baby arrives
- ERIC IS AN EMT!!!! That's right - he passed his class and I am glad to have him home again!!
- Next educational venture for him - Local protocal class at the end of March
- We took Birth Education class together - enjoyed it - but almost hyperventalated with all the breathing they made us practice!
- Crystal is now also the HIPAA and DEA compliance person at work --- we are wondering what they are going to do when she is not there....she currently is the only RN there doing the Recovery room duties, anesthesia assist, OSHA, HIPAA, DEA, med consults and follow-ups...needless to say, most days are 10 hours plus for her...Still trying to decide about whether she wants to go back part time or like 2 afternoons a week after the baby comes...
- The baby is doing well - Mom is 34 weeks and 5 days along - The head is down - the kicks are soccer like and the baby (who moves a lot) is actually slowing down (they say this happens) - at my last visit, the heart rate was in the 120-130's
- The nursery is adorable!! We are excited to finally have it up and ready (well, except the crib - but dad almost has that done and it is amazing!!)
- Keep checking back for more updates and for information and pictures when the baby comes!!

We split our office into 2 parts - a large part office and small part, nursery...We made a curtain divider to keep the baby from being too nosy at bedtime if we need to be in the office, and to make it seem more like two rooms

We love our giraffe!! 2 ladies from church gave us that - we are still thinking of a name? any ideas?? We took advice from Cynthia (Eric's cousin) and got a dry sink for the changing table - we love how it turned out!

Mom gave us this rocker for the room - it looks so nice and comfy :) -- If you can't tell, our them is safari (colors in red, sage, brown, cream and black) - giraffe's are popular nursery items right now, so it works out really well!
