Here he is...

our little boy!!

We are so glad the wait is over and we finally get to meet this precious gift God blessed us with.

We are doing well, and Kyan is a good baby...

Today he had a doctor visit to check on his jaundice - which turns out is ok...

but they did say he has lost some weight, he is 7 lb 5 0z...

Pray that feeding becomes easier and more productive every day..

in the meantime, enjoy some more pictures.

It's A Boy!

Crystal and Eric welcomed Kyan Lewis Blosser on April 17, 2008 at 12:31am.
Kyan weighs in at 8lbs 4oz and is 20 inches long.

waiting and waiting and waiting...

Here we are again...
Another week, another doctor appointment...
Today they said:

1. HR 120-130's
2. BP was up a bit in the office and I have been having some significant swelling in my feet :(
3. Still only 1 cm dilated

So they:

1. Did an ultrasound to check the fluid levels (which are good)
2. Sent me to the hospital for a fetal stress test and lab work
3. Scheduled our induction for Wednesday AM

I am supposed to call in Wednesday morning at 6:30-7:00, to see if they have beds available and then go in when they tell me (either right away or in a bit). Dr Slusher said it could be a long haul, but she is going to be there with us!

Pray for us as we anticipate this and as the "countdown" begins...it is not what we had planned, but God knows best - pray we have graciousness and patience

Just Another Day

Well...another day has come and gone...and still no baby Blosser
The good news:

1. The baby seems to be doing well
2. HR was 135
3. The doctors are not considering me overdue till after Tuesday (April 8th) - they said this was the real due date?
4. I dialated 1 cm!! (only 9 more to go)

The bad news:

1. If the baby does not come by the end of next week, they will induce me
2. the baby is not here yet

Please pray that God will bless us with this baby before they have to induce labor...We want the best for our child and for the labor experience!
