Much to Eric's relief,

the reonovations on our hall bathroom are basically complete....

We took a family day and went to the Arboreatum....

Ky loved riding in the pack and Eric & I enjoyed a chance to get away to the "woods" in the city.

I am soo ready for Spring!

It has reached that time of year, where one more day of cold, dreary winter will do me in!

I am ready for SPRING!!

we did have a teasing spell of warm days the other week, so I enjoyed the opportunity to take Ky out to the park and teach him about swings :)

Eric & I truly can't wait to show Ky all about the outdoors...

hiking, camping, gardening, trees, animals...etc!

I have never been much for snow,

but I have found, that since having Kyan - I am eager to do things that are a "first" for him - even if I don't like them...

I love watching him explore and learn new things -

Maybe I'm a nut, but i probably get more excited then he does!!

Can't Get Enough

Ky is 10 months old...

I can't believe how much life has changed in these last 10 months.

We went from a couple to a family,

we have laughed, loved, grieved and cherished.

Watching our son learn is like nothing else -

this past month has especially been fun, it makes the last 9 months seem purposeful as we see Ky put to action things we have taught him!

He now claps, blows kisses, waves bye-bye, signs "milk", "more", "eat", and maybe others that we haven't picked up on yet??

On the down side - we can definetly tell he is trying to test his boundaries with us, to see if we really mean "no"...

Tucker has been really into pulling Ky over to get to the toys Ky has been playing with...I guess Ky finally had enough - he pushed Tuck over and climbed on top of him...guess it is time to learn to share huh?

I really think he is going to be that kid that licks the metal pole in winter to see if it is really true...
